A Stinging Performance...
Music superstar, movie star and idol of the sophisticated rocker, Sting, came to Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson University for Saturday night's concert where crowds of fans rocked to the music. The lead singer of the band Police, Sting has branched out on his own with a solo album and his current tour. Seconds after the first note was played, the crowd rushed the stage as Sting gave an emotional, polished performance with his jazz-rock band. The British rocker is best known for his songs with the Police, including 'Roxanne' and the ballad 'Every Move You Make'. His current album, 'The Dream of the Blue Turtles', is rated No. 4 on the Billboard magazine charts, and Sting was one of the headline acts at the Live Aid concert to raise money for African relief efforts.
