Become a 'Friend of Sting.com' and help sponsor a page in the new Rainforest Foundation Appointment calendar/book...
Some of you may already support The Rainforest Foundation in some form or another, but if you don't and you think you might be interested in doing so, this is your lucky day.
Last year, fans here at Sting.com came together to form a contributing group and to sponsor a page in the Rainforest Foundation's annual appointment/calendar book. The contributing group is called "Friends of Sting.com."
The donation is ,000.00 to sponsor a page with the cost split between the contributing fans - that money of course, going toward the work of the Rainforest Foundation US and their mission.
What that includes - besides an amazing feeling of togetherness and purpose for a cause that is so important - is having our own page in the calendar, each of our names printed on the page with a quote that read, "Friends of Sting.com proudly support the work of the Rainforest Foundation" and a copy of the calendar book sent to each contibutor by the Rainforest Foundation US.
Those who aren't familiar with this beautiful calendar may be interested to know that it's filled with pages of beautiful celebrity quotes, artwork, photographs and facts regarding the current situation of our rainforests, what's being done and what needs to be done. Not to mention support from companies and people like us who just want to feel like we are making a difference in any way we can - like sponsoring a page.
If you are interested in donating and becoming one of the "Friends of Sting.com" named on the page log into the community area of this site and visit the "Nature & Environment" message board. There is a thread entitled "Be A "Friends of Sting.com" Contributor for 2007-2008" which provides details of who to contact and what is involved.
