Cuban culture and music has made an incredible impact on the world, and here’s an opportunity to ensure that impact will continue for years to come. Consider lending your support to this initiative to send a much-needed concert piano from London to the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán music training school in Havana, Cuba.
The project was started by a professional London-based Cuban pianist who graduated from the School and was shocked by the worn out state of their only concert piano when she visited recently. Despite being one of the most prestigious musical schools on the island, with graduates who are famous throughout the world, it lacks basic resources.
