Petition to Keep Mill Neck Manor Early Childhood Center (Bayville, NY) Open...

As the parents of children who currently attend the Mill Neck Manor Early Childhood Center, a preschool for children with disabilities and special needs, we would like to whole heartedly ask our community members to help us in our endeavor to prevent the school from closing. It has recently been brought to our attention that this wonderful program, that has touched the lives of so many families, will be shut down because of financial matters. Due to the limited number of special needs preschool programs available, this action will be detrimental to our community. Our special needs children will not be able to receive the education and services that they need in order to thrive, not to mention the loving and dedicated staff that have become family to us, will be left unemployed.  Our innocent children did not ask to be born with the challenges that they face every day, so please don't let them lose their beloved school and teachers that have helped them in ways that cannot even be expressed in words.
