Sting to perform in Ecuador at the QuitonĆa Festival 2014...
The Municipality of the Metropolitan District of Quito and the Mayor, Dr. Mauricio Rodas, present The 1st Festival of Music ''QuitonĆa'', in celebration of the 480th anniversary of the Quito Foundation. Headlining the show will be the British singer-songwriter, STING, for the first time in Ecuador. This extraordinary musician is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, winner of 16 Grammy awards and has written iconic hits like: ''Every Little Thing She Does is Magic,'' ''Roxanne,'' ''Message in a Bottle,'' among many others.
The 1st Festival of Music ''QuitonĆa Festival 2014'' will take place in December 2014, from 17:00 to 23:00 and STING will headline the night of December 3rd at the Parque Bicentenario of the capital, Quito. There will also be performances by other national and international artists, who will join Sting at the opening of the event, and will participate in the festival. This important event, organized by the Municipality for all the ''QuiteƱos'', national citizens and foreigners that visit the capital, awaits the warm reception of the people, during the celebration of the Quito Foundation.
