Not for nothing, the Moon & Stars Festival on the Piazza Grande in Locarno is one of the most popular festivals in the world, both for artists and for guests. The next issue of Moon & Stars will take place from 14 to 22 July 2017 and will surprise you with many new features. Next Thursday, the presale and the line-up is almost complete with artists like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Zucchero, the sons of Mannheim, Sting, Gölä or Amy Macdonald.
There are artists who call the Moon & Stars nothing less than the most beautiful music festival in the world. The backdrop is unique and the line-up is promising. In July 2017, Locarno will once again host world stars and local pop and rock musicians. The opening night on July 14, 2017, the American success duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, supported by the two Swiss shooting stars Lo & Leduc, contests. On Saturday 15 July 2017 is announced with Zucchero italianità on Piazza Grande. The sons of Mannheim are in 2017 on "Mannheim to Dir" tour and make their southernmost stop on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Locarno. Great voices are also staged on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 and Amy Macdonald on Thursday, July 20, 2017 on the Moon & Stars stage. The artists from Tuesday 18 July, Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July 2017 will be announced shortly.
Since 2004, Moon & Stars has been attracting an audience of music enthusiasts to the Piazza Grande in Locarno. During the nine evenings, more than 10,000 spectators will be able to experience a concert experience of the extra class. This year the festival will be organized by the Energy Group for the first time, which is known for events like Energy Air at the Stade de Suisse Bern or Energy Star Night at the Hallenstadion Zürich.
