In your own words: I have to start out saying one of the highlites of my Police fandom has to be visiting London and dropping in at the old Police/Outlandos fanclub HQ on Noel Street and meeting with Tina who was so awesome to me. Loved getting those newsletters in the post from the UK in the pre-internet years. Then later in my fandom voraciously reading all the posts on Dave & Wendy's pages. I have so enjoyed my journey as a fan and love the fact that I still follow along on Sting's travels. More recently I have been to some fanclub shows which along with the community pages on the site reassures me that I am not the only one this crazy. I have been a collector/trader/"completist" for too many years to count. So it was so awesome meeting some fellow fans at more recent fanclub shows including meeting/hanging with Roger a bit at a fanclub show in NYC. I do feel "Lucky" to live near NYC where have been able to see many Sting shows over the years and look forward to seeing what he does next!
Eliot Sumner will join the Sting 3.0 Tour for the show on October 16 at Hard Rock Live in Rockford, IL. Tickets are available from https://sting.com/pages/tour
