In your own words: ..or from the Left & Right sides of my brain. MABUHAY ka STING!! Truly an unforgettable evening in my life, a week after my birthday on the 24th which I spent in San Francisco but did not let anything to get in the way of my return to the Manila on the 30th of January, the eve of STING’s 1st Live Concert in the Philippines. Two highlights of that awesome concert night was Sting's unmatched class act of a True entertainer who politely asked the audience after his 3rd song if he could be allowed a 20 minute break for those who still were queued outside and did not make it inside the ULTRA when he started! No ONE else has ever done that, as far as I know but him… upon hearing this the audience roared and he thankfully bowed and went backstage. Gates were opened and everyone else outside entered ..then he restarted with what I thought was an illusion or some visual effect but as soon as he thumb- clapped on his Bass guitar to "HEAVY CLOUD but NO RAIN”…and almost on cue to the first refrain ....a Full Moon just slowly appeared smack center and above the stage awning and this was just mind-blowing…just as the whole concert was…twas then that I promised myself if ever YOU RETURN, I shall watch you again but with my son, Piero who was then 3 months in his mother’s womb at the concert.I raised him around your beautiful music playing at the background, through the womb, in his room when sleeping, at my living room when playing, myself singing acapella while sleeping on my chest, my car almost anytime I could play any of your albums or the Police…you inspire me Sir and my son has turned out to be a music artist/songwriter/arranger himself and I am proud to have made you his metronome, so to speak…and Thank GOD for your contribution to life. Once again MABUHAY KA GORDON SUMNER!!
